What is Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is technologically assisted biofeedback that trains the brain to regulate itself. Used clinically for over 30 years, Neurofeedback training is shown to be safe and effective.

Please see below for specific Neurofeedback treatment packages:

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder:  15 – 20 LNFB sessions. Pre and post psychometric testing, brain mapping over the course of sessions.

 

Anxiety: 12 – 17 LNFB sessions.  Pre and post psychometric testing, brain mapping over the course of the sessions.

 

Depression: 20-30 LNFB sessions. Pre and post psychometric testing, brain mapping over the course of sessions.

 

Autism:  20-50 or more LNFB sessions. Pre and post psychometric testing, brain mapping over the course of sessions. Autism is a complex disorder and will require a sequential procedure.  The first 20 sessions may involve topographical neurofeedback to reduce stereotypical movements, injurious behaviors as well as improve the ability to self-regulate so that LORETA neurofeedback can be facilitated. Several assessment procedures may be given to determine a range of improvements through the training.  The cost for ASD will be assessed every 20 sessions.

 

Learning disabilities: 12 – 20 LNFB sessions. Pre and post psychometric testing, brain mapping over the course of sessions. Each LD will be thoroughly assessed with neurometric, achievement and neuropsychological testing.

 

Self-regulation and peak performance:  10-15 sessions. Assessment of strengths/weaknesses and areas that are the focus of peak-performance in a respected profession or competitive sport, Pre and post psychometric testing, brain mapping over the course of sessions and training in relaxation, stress reduction, and maximizing potential.

 

Substance use: These program are highly individualized and details may be discussed with your provider.

Each client’s treatment is based on state-of-the-art performance tests as well as memory, processing, and intellectual assessments administered on site.   The cost of individualized complete treatment packages may be discussed with your provider. Comorbid conditions may be more.  One half of payment is required up front and the remaining balance is to be paid on the 10th session.  We are a private pay clinic but do provide patients with diagnostic codes to file with their insurance for reimbursements.  Please call our office for more details.

Some insurance companies pay directly for the biofeedback procedural code (90901). Reimbursement success has improved significantly over the last few years. Please ask your provider.
